Concrete roof tiles are made by pouring concrete into a mold and then allowing it to harden. The concrete roof tile can then be finished with a color coating. This is definitely recommended, as the surface will then become smoother, keeping your roof free of algae and moss for longer. This not only promotes the lifespan of the roof tiles but also the appearance of your home. This color coating is available in many colors, so you are no longer limited to the mouse-gray variant.

- Financial: If you are looking for the cheapest option, concrete roof tiles fit perfectly into this picture. Concrete roof tiles are slightly cheaper to purchase than ceramic roof tiles, but they are also cheaper to install. Concrete roof tiles are larger than ceramic roof tiles, making them quicker and easier to install.
- Dimensionally stable: Concrete roof tiles are dimensionally stable, which means that they do not expand or shrink at different temperatures. Clay is what ceramic roof tiles are made of. Did you know that this clay is simply extracted from our Dutch rivers such as the Maas and Rhine? Rivers are constantly producing clay, making the supply inexhaustible, a perfect building material. To make ceramic roof tiles, kneaded clay is pressed into molds that are then put in the oven. The clay is baked at high temperatures into a hard roof tile. If you choose a ceramic roof tile with a baked-in glaze layer, you ensure the longest lifespan. This glaze layer also works, just like with concrete roof tiles, as a protective layer against algae and moss. This way, the roof remains a picture to look at for as long as possible; dirt slides off the roof immediately after laying ceramic roof tiles.

- Long lifespan: Ceramic roof tiles can reach a lifespan of up to 100 years. This long lifespan is mainly found in the glazed variant and good maintenance.
- Suitable for difficult roofs: If there are many interruptions on your roof, the ceramic roof tile offers a solution. Laying roof tiles on unusual roofs is no problem at all with all the accessories that are possible with the ceramic variant. The whole looks neatly finished and there are fewer sensitive spots for leaks.
